Transition Partnership Program (TPP)
TPP is an interagency vocational program funded by the California State Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) in cooperation with the Humboldt County Office of Education and high schools in the Arcata, Eureka, Ferndale, Fortuna, Klamath Trinity, McKinleyville and Southern Humboldt areas.
Goal
To assist students with barriers to employment to become competitive in the world of work. These students meet the following criteria:
- High School Students Age 16-21
- Qualify for Department of Rehabilitation Student Services
- Want to prepare for future employment
- Are available to participate
- Would benefit from the program

Mission Statement
The mission of WorkAbility I is to promote the involvement of key stakeholders (students, families, WorkAbility staff, educators, youth-serving organizations, workforce development organizations, post-secondary education and training, and business partners) in planning and implementing an array of services that will culminate in successful student transition to employment, lifelong learning, and quality of life.
Student Opportunities
Eligible students may be able to participate in work-based classroom activities such as WoofAbility and paid work training with Workers’ Compensation Coverage provided by the program.
