Last week, local high school students heard from a variety of healthcare professionals about the different options available in health careers. Guest speakers shared about their journeys through education and career choices, daily duties on the job, career options within a specialty, and different settings to work in. Rounding out February’s career focus of the month, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), students from Mr. Curry’s Metal Shop at McKinleyville High School were treated to a fantastic presentation from Josh Miller at California Heating.
