Jack Sheppard and the Trades Academy Mobile Lab shuttled eager students from Ferndale High School on Monday for a trip up to a Mercer-Fraser project site on Highway 36. Donning their work vests and hard hats, students were shown all of the elements of improving and building roads. Highway 36 is taking on a whole new route and Mercer-Fraser is right at the helm of the project with surveying, construction and safety.
